Posted - 26 Aug 2019 : 11:43:32 Quick Debrief from last night:
TASMO on VG Server Falcon21: "Noodle" AA=1 AG=1 EJT Falcon22: "Reds" AA=0 AG=0 EJT Falcon23: "Griffin" AA=1 AG=0 EJT (Note that "Wowzer" took Falcon24 seat)
Day 1 of the campaign, we were able to sink 1x Osa and damaged another one, unfortunately pop-up threats were just too abundant and we all got shot down and ejected. We should've gotten a proper Escort for this flight, instead we decided to send #3-4 on CAP while #1-2 took care of the Osas. Once AG weapons released, #1 and #2 would swap tasks with #3 and #4. A dedicated 4ship CAP/Escort was definitely needed on day 1 of this campaign. Lesson's learnt.
When going for a second OCA sortie (with Wowzer and Falco taking care of the Escort) to get rid of that airfield, we had issues with loadouts and could not get our weapons on target. This flight was uneventful, no significant air threats and all bombs missed target, which was already destroyed even though it showed "no damage" in recon screen.
We did not define in the first place what would be MS or PS. I would go for PS as one of the Osa was sunk. |
