A bit of a milk-run this. We took off and stayed in close wingtip until going NOE at our STP3, when #2 moved to 2nm Trail. Found the target, then #1 went in first, taking out the defences (SA7s and ZSU23s), to allow #2 in to take out the launchers and radars unmolested. Debrief showed all but 3 trucks destroyed (although the Fan Song was destroyed by another flight just prior to our arrival).
Egress was uneventful until we got into the MATZ for Home Plate, which was VERY busy. An aborted attempt at an Overhead break caused by another flight getting close (even though we were cleared by Approach and Tower) meant we just had to get in any way we could. #2 declared an emergency to clear the way whilst #1 just requested vectors for a visual approach, eventually getting in. The move to a quieter airbase can't come too soon.
The 4 things a wingman is allowed to say:
1.Two 2.Lead, you're on fire. 3.I'm bingo fuel. 4.I'll take the fat one.... :/
