This will put us closer to Chinese Su-30 and Su-35 aircraft spotted in the last mission.

Plan was to ingress with escort, divide target box W/E for both elements to work on at the same time if picture clear. Otherwise, to have 1 element working the target while the other element is ready to support escort.
Execution went different to plan as we lost our escort on ingress. We had to split the flight with #1 and #2 jettisoning weapons to CAP and #3 + #4 working the target.
Target area was relatively clear once we pushed back some Mig-21s and Mig-23s,there were many friendlies hanging around. Mig-19s caping further north, but they did not engage us. Occasional Su-30s but they also stayed away, surprised to see J-20 (spiked as 22). Once #3 and #4 called dakota we headed back home for an OHB. |
