Chinese involvement in the theatre is causing concern, notably from the air assets that have been provided. Russian forces have also added their weight to the battle.
The carrier group in the NW still remains after the last mission was repelled by overwhelming numbers of J-15 (SU-30) and J-11 (SU-27) fighters were sent down the west coast.
A good number of these aircraft were destroyed, not only by our aircraft but also by our SAM support. However, the allies lost a good number of aircraft as well.
Your task is to set up a CAP for thrity minutes minimum and concentrate on killing as many enemy aircraft as you can in order to open the way for another attack on the carrier.

We mentioned last time that the carrier can carry 40 aircraft, which are known to be at least SU-30KK equivalents. We have recorded kills against this compliment but there will be significant numbers left.

The package consists of two flights totalling eight aircraft, details below. Command have relocated the 1999th squadron of F-16C-52 ROKAFs, that are Harpoon carrying platforms. PPT 63 shows the location of 2 x Osa II ships that should be destroyed should the opportunity arise. It is not a mission critical requirement.

Mission Success Criteria
Package success will be the completion of a thirty minute CAP with one loss to the package. A partial will be the completion of a thirty minute CAP with up to three losses to the package.
Copper 3 will is on station for refuelling, UHF 289.65, TCN 060Y.

We managed to stay 30mins on station, having to monitor several fronts we were constantly resetting formation to maximize firepower and mutual support.
We did manage to get some kills,(J-15 coming from the N/NW, and Su-30s from the E).
Unfortunately, #3 got a bit too close in the last engagement and was shot down by a PL-12.
