Situation
With the destruction of the coastal Zemunik Airbase and the reduction of Udbina Airbase to 50% operational, FRY can no longer significantly project air power over and beyond the Adriatic.
Air command are now able to commit more packages away from DCA on the Italian Peninsula to the Balkan front.
The previous mission was to destroy Udbina Airbase and command believes that FRY command will be expecting further attacks on their outlying Mig-21 airbases.
Mission
Your mission is to eliminate YAF's presence in Croatia and open up an avenue for a future attack to gain complete air-superiority.
There are several remaining active airbases in Croatia, Udbina, Pleso and Zeljava, as well as Banja Luka in Bosnia.
Objectives
The objective for this mission is to make a bold strike against Banja Luka Airbase, where their Mig-29As are based.
If significant opposition is faced in approaching Banja Luka, then secondary options are available at Zeljava Airbase (Stpt 8), Udbina Airbase (Stpt 9) or Pleso Airbase (Stpt 10).
With only a single runway the airbase will be made inoperable with only one or two weapons on target.
STPT 4 is a safe push point under friendly SAM cover.
STPT 5 is positioned on the SA-5 trespass.
STPT 7 is the target, and within cover of SA-3 at PPT60.
STPT 8 is backup target Zeljava Airbase (Mig-21 and G-4)
STPT 9 is backup target Udbina Airbase (Mig-21 and 50% operational)
STPE 10 is backup target Pleso Airbase (Mig-21 x2 squadrons)

We had quite a few tech issues, firstly with the pilot model that Mango couldn't get rid of (the alt c:p didn't want to play) and then I got some serious white noise that was only in BMS. I backed out and when I rejoined my aircraft was airborne but the canopy was open by about 100mm! Work that one out. On my second rejoin all was well.
By this time we were around 100km behind the rest of the package. I launched my eight SDBs at the target SP and they all hit the same spot. Unfortunately this was off to the side of the runway. Mango couldn't release his weapons so I told him to bin them and we flew home.
The last tech issue we had was when Mangos NWS didn't work so he rolled off the end of the runway in a safe spot.
A frustrating evening all told, especially when the target we were attacking (Ubdina AB) was repaired to 100% during our flight! Sheesh!

Mission plan was altered during mission briefing. New objective was for PANTHER 3 to destroy Zeljava Airbase runway and for HAWKEYE 7 to destroy the remains of Udbina Airbase runway.
Quiet ingress to target area behind CYBORG 7. When it was discovered that HAWKEYE 7 was delayed due to tech issues, we established a CAP well back from the front line.
Once HAWKEYE 7 were ready, we headed straight for Zeljana and runway sections at both ends were destroyed with SDBs.
Uneventful RTB with a neat overhead break landing.
