Posted - 15 Mar 2023 : 17:59:41 Supporting the next ground push towards Zadar, we're tasked to engage any ground targets located near Sibenik. Friendly forces are very close, so the flight working the northern kill box will have to pay special attention.
Targets are: Several AAA battalions SA-6 (no Straight Flush) battalion 3 engineer battalions Several infantry battalions
Kastela Airbase is less than 20NM away, and operational (Mig-21). Strong blue air expected.
Minimal air threat expected. Weather is fair and expect night landing.
Air Threats: G-4 MiG-21Bis MiG-29A Su-25 Su-33/39 (Kuznetsov)
SAM Threats: MANPADS AAA
Package 3065 MUDHEN5 - AI - 4xF-16 PANTHER5- SEAD 2x F-16 (N killbox) BULLDOG6 - ESCORT 2x F-16 (S Killbox)
MS - 4 ground kills / pilot, no loss to package. PS - 2 ground kills / pilot, max 1 loss to package.
Results Flight Leads in this Sunday's official mission, "Balance of Power 10" are requested to post a debrief of their flight's actions, including any lessons learned or that should be learned by others.

It started off with a tech for Mango, who pre-warned us that his net connection was at risk of going down, which it did and he didn't return.
Gekko and I then had something of an easy flight, picking and sorting separate targets at the primary location.
We had sacrificed fuel for more weapons. That just about worked and we both returned to base with around 1000lbs of fuel left.
