Taegu needs to be recaptured as soon as possible. SAM coverage around Teagu is still significant but the SA-10 threat has been dealt with.
SA-17 is the highest known threats, but SA-8, SA-9 and SA-19 are also present locally, while distant SA-10s and SA-5s should not be a factor for this mission. Red air presence is increasing but not overwheming. Su-35s are based on the east coast, and Mig-29s on the south coast. Our flight path has minimal Patriot cover.
Mission
Completely destroy the SA-17 battalion at STPT 7. Destroy as many other SAMs around STPT 8.
2-ship Escort flights to sanitize 40NM box around target area, and provide air cover, and alerts for package.

SAM Threats: SA-10 SA-17 SA-8 SA-5 OSA II in the river W of Teagu AAA & MANPADS

Picture was clear to start with so DEAD flight was cleared in, then a Su-35 group was called E as we were looking S. With a 15nm spacing between #1 and #2, quick reset and #2 was hot 30NM from bandits with #1 supporting. DEAD flight was called to retrograde as soon as the group was brought to our attention.
Both bandits got splashed, but #2 of DEAD flight didn't hear the retrograde call and ended up targeted by one of the bandits shortly before the bandit being splashed. Mig-31s were called S, so we change the CAP axis N-S, while clearing the DEAD back in.
A 2ship was merging with friendlies and coming up within 25NM, #1 had VID and fired+splash one bandit. The other was taken care of by friendlies.
Lots of missiles were fired by the southern SA-10 and a 2ship of Mig-29 got within 30NM, so we engaged on the edge of the SA-10 WEZ. #1 only damaged one of the bandits, #2 got the other one and finished off the first bandit trying to land at Daegu. We stayed on a N-S axis for the CAP. Soon enough, more Mig-29s were showing up, taking off from Kimhae ITL airport. We engaged the first bandit and splashed it, now weapons and fuel bingo we RTBd. But more Mig-29s kept showing up from the E. DEAD flight was engaged E and called for delouse so we turned back and engaged the bandit chasing, splashed and RTB. No other bandit followed us.

Flight split with first element attacking around STPT 8 and second element the SA-17 at STPT 7.
We had a first run at ground targets before being called away west to safety. Mango missed the call and got caught by a Su-35 just before the escort destroyed the Su-35.
We then had further chances to attack ground targets while escort engaged Mig-31s and Mig-29S's from the south.
When dakota call, Pegasus decided to attack a Mig-29s group from the south that was about 40nm distant. He got too close and was destroyed.
The 2 losses made it a mission fail.
The SA-17 battalion is completely destroyed, and 4x SA-8s were destroyed around STPT 8, 4 Shilkas at STPT 7,
