Posted - 15 Jul 2024 : 15:19:06 The previous missions have been successful in reducing the main air threats and the SAM defences have been heavily depleted.
The next tasks involve destroying storage facilities and refineries and also destroying bridges north of Seoul.
Your mission this evening is to attack and destroy eight bridges north of Seoul. There is an active AAA battalion at the eastern end of your strike area. Taking down these bridges will hinder any enemy reinforcements reaching Seoul.
The mission flight plan below, shows your route.
Fig. 1 - Package Flight Paths
Fig. 2 - Focus on the Target Area
The weather is expected to be clear throughout the mission, but remember that it will be dark.
Fig. 2 - Briefing for Package 2206
Mission Success shall be awarded for the successfully destroying at least six of the bridges, with a PS for at least four. The loss of up to one aircraft is permitted.
Good hunting.

Tiag had to use No4 as he set fire to No3 on start up. He is not sure of the cause.
We took off and slowly climbed to FL250, keeping 20 miles behind our escort, Weasel 5. Apart from having to do a third of a hold while a potential MiG23 threat was evaluated by Weasel 5, the ingress was uneventful.
We came out of the hold and headed straight for our individual targets, two bridges each. Using GBU-31AP we had six successfully destroyed bridges for a mission success.
We regrouped and egressed while Weasel 5 kept our six clear.
Landing was uneventful and we parked up unscathed.
