Operation SOLID TRUSS – Mission 22 – Sunday 7th June 2026

[CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)

Campaign Objectives:

1. Stop the Egyptian Armoured Advance through the Sinai - Achieved;
2. Achieve Air Superiority - Achieved;
3. Hold ALL Israeli Airbases - Achieved;
4. Prevent a second armoured advance - Not yet achieved.

SITUATION:

Now that Objectives 1 to 3 have been achieved, our attention must shift to preventing a second armoured advance by Egyptian forces towards the Israel/Egypt border. Therefore, our attention must now move to attacking Egyptian infrastructure to deny them fuel, ammunition and reinforcements for depleted units.

Our recent DEAD successes have enabled us now to focus on key sites that must be destroyed, thereby reducing the Egyptian ability to launch further attacks.

Primary Targets:

Jaguar5: Al-Taawoun Refinery (Depot Complex)
Tamiya Gas Refinery (Storage Tanks & other HVT)

Hammer2: Ras Sedr Petroleum Facility (Warehouse & other HVT)
Suder Petroleum Refinery (Storage Tanks)

Plasma5: Kirban Ammunition Depot (Ammo Dumps)

INTEL

Given the phenomenal successes of the eagle drivers from the 186th, we now enjoy total air superiority with the Egyptian air force all but completely decimated. Surface threats are as briefed with the potential for MANPAD systems both in the AO as well as en route – but then again, if you’re that low, you deserve to get one up the pipe!

SUPPORT

NATO continues to authorise logistical and EW support to Israeli forces. Whilst NATO forces are not permitted to engage in active combat with Egyptian forces (unless fired upon), UN Charter 11979 has authorised limited use of AEW capability. To that end, an E3A Sentry (Escorted by 2x F15C) has been tasked from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus but is currently RTB for refuel. No AWAC cover is available for this mission.

AIR TASKING ORDER

4x F-16I-52+ (185th VFS), Nevatim AB – c/s JAGUAR5 – STR (Package Cdr) – T/O Time: 11:55
4x F-16I-52+ (185th VFS), Nevatim AB – c/s HAMMER2 – STR – T/O Time: 11:56
2x F-16I-52+ (185th VFS), Nevatim AB – c/s PLASMA5 – STR – T/O Time: 11:57

Note: Due to several losses/damage to several airframes during recent weeks the Sqn is reduced to 12 aircraft with 2 airframes currently under repair. Therefore only 10 aircraft are available for this mission. Further flights from other Sqns may be fragged to accommodate additional pilots with emphasis on STRIKE missions against enemy infrastructure.

ATO SUPPORT

1x E-3 AEW/ABCCC (963rd AEW) – RAF Akrotiri – c/s Dragnet 1 – Sunrise/Set 05:45 – 10:45

WEAPONS

Flight Lead discretion.

Mission Success Criteria:

Mission Success:
All designated targets reduced to <=50% Operational

Partial Success:
N/A

Mission Fail:
Anything other than Mission Success

Supplementary

So far, of the 4 squadrons of F16 SUFA platform deployed to the theatre, the 185th has fared best with only 5 losses of aircraft and we have recently received a replacement airframe, bringing the Sqn total to 12 serviceable aircraft. However, whilst we anticipate that these losses will eventually be replaced/repaired, this takes time and obvious financial cost. All pilots MUST take any and all precautions necessary to return their aircraft to either Homeplate, or other friendly airbases. We cannot afford any further losses or we will be forced to transfer to a lesser platform such as the Block 30 variant. You have been warned.

Good Luck.

The 4 things a wingman is allowed to say:

1.Two
2.Lead, you're on fire.
3.I'm bingo fuel.
4.I'll take the fat one.... :/

Dealt with the ammo dumps simply enough, but got complacent circling the area while Mango made a 2nd pass and got shot down by a Hawk defending the area.
