Operation SOLID TRUSS Mission 24 Sunday 28th June 2026
[CLASSIFIED: SECRET (185th VFS Eyes Only)
Campaign Objectives:
1. Stop the Egyptian Armoured Advance through the Sinai - Achieved 2. Achieve Air Superiority - Achieved 3. Hold ALL Israeli Airbases - Achieved 4. Prevent a second armoured advance x
SITUATION:
Now that Objectives 1 to 3 have been achieved, our attention must shift to preventing a second armoured advance by Egyptian forces towards the Israel/Egypt border. Therefore, our attention must now move to attacking Egyptian infrastructure to deny them fuel, ammunition and reinforcements for depleted units.
With the Air Defence surprises we encountered west of the Suez now completely eradicated we must again shift our focus to target Egyptian infrastructure and its ability to wage war on us. The target for this mission is the Agrod Ammo Storage facility west of the Suez Canal. Destruction or degrading of this facility will strike a heavy blow to the Egyptian war fighting capability and will significantly reduce its ability to resupply its units already deployed, or to equip further reinforcements prior to deployment.

Primary Targets:
Primary Target for all flights are Ammo Dumps within the complex. This is a very large facility covering a significant area.

INTEL
Given the phenomenal successes of the eagle drivers from the 186th, we now enjoy total air superiority with the Egyptian air force all but completely decimated. Surface threats are as briefed with the potential for MANPAD systems both in the AO as well as en route but then again, if youre that low, you deserve to get one up the pipe!
SUPPORT
Now that the Egyptian air threat has been severely reduced, NATO has withdrawn its support and AWACs will no longer be available, at least for the near future.

Jackal2 - 4x ship F16I Strike
Jackal2-1 AA-0 AG-3 RTB (Gecko) Jackal2-2 AA-0 AG-0 RTB (Jules) Jackal2-3 AA-0 AG-2 RTB (Scooter) Jackal2-4 AA-0 AG-2 RTB (Redfox)

Confused taxiing - due to loss of SA of flight lead. Number 4 saved the situation, thank you Eventually found the right RNW (25R literally) and took off without losses or damages Jaguar3 still busy finding the HAWK. Flight slowly climbing to angels 22, preserving as much fuel as possible, as potential long orbit at holding point. Started anti-clockwise orbit at our holding point (STP4). Report from Jaguar3-1 that path is clear - turned towards target area. Ingress without difficulties. Released Spice bombs when in range to the preselected and computed targets. Jackal2-2 had issues as the data cartridge loaded incorrectly due to technical issues; eventually jettisoned his bombs. Decouter - communicated to Jaguar3. Landing plan made. Attempted semi-overhead approach by bypassing the AB on the right and turn on final to 25L in a right echelon formation. Due to network problems, it was only partially successful but landed regardless in one piece.
Overall a few technical issues but most of them resolved. Job done. good flight. Good communication throughout. Good SA in the air. Thank you everyone for the experience> |
