After a very successful TASMO effort last time out, that resulted in the enemy losing four frigates and three OSA II patrol craft to our aircraft, we have had reports that the north of the island needs help repelling invaders.

Fig. 1 - Flight Plan for Package

Your primary task tonight is to head north and destroy a battalion of T-90 tanks heading south to support their infantry. Care should be taken to ensure that fratricide is avoided at all costs.

Your secondary task (weapons and aircraft permitting) is to attack another T-90 battalion that has landed on the east coast near to Jiashan AB.

Pilots should be aware of the SA-19 threat that these battalions possess.

Air threats in the north are J-20 stealth fighters and J-10s (Eurofighter symbols on RWR). The east coast is currently clear of enemy air assets but they are crossing the island to the south so be alert, particularly during take off.

Mission Success Criteria
Package success will be the destruction of ten T-90 tanks (50%) in the northern battalion with the loss no more than one aircraft to air threats. A partial will be for the destruction of seven T-90 tanks and no more than one loss to air threats from the package.

Having been warned of the threat from SA-19s, any losses from those weapons will result in a Mission Fail for the package.

Remember that this is a night mission so plan carefully and choose your weapons wisely.
