The SA-10 is the target, but it does not seem to be active and not listed as a threat in the briefing.
In case the SA-10 is not active, the secondary target is the SA-11.

Mango as Gamble82 had some tech issues and needed to return as Gamble84.
All quiet on ingress, but a pair of J-11s appeared from the North and went after the Mustang7. We allowed the J-11s to get too close and they got some missiles off at Mustang7. Our own missiles made the J-11s go defensive at least, allowing Mustang7 to survive and get a kill of their own.
The DEAD flight being at low altitude and well in advance of ESCORT made it difficult to cover them, but I should have called DEAD to safe area sooner.
Mission other than that was a success with no losses.

PS
Uneventful ingress, we pushed towards the last known location of the SA-10, but it did not come up.
While searching for our secondary targets (SA-11 and SA-6), we got a little bit too far away from the escort and ha d to defend ourselves against 2 J-11s while the escort flight pushed further north to support.
After dealing with the threat, #3 informed of the SA-11 location and went for the SA-6, #1 and #2 engaged the SA-11. #2 could only get 1 harm off and had to RTB due to fuel, #1 had 2 SDBs hung. Only #3 managed to get all weapons off.
While working both targets, another SA-10 was identified further north.
Uneventful egress.
#1 and #3 rejoined and OHB after #2 had just landed |
