Campaign Objectives
Capture Mostaganem, Mohammedia and Saida from the Algerians within 10 days (see green circles and arrow below)
Situation
A fragile peace between Morocco and Algeria begins to unravel. The simmering hostility boils over in the border town of Tindouf, near Algeria's south-western edge. Here, Moroccan forces move to set up a buffer zone, allegedly to prevent Polisario fighters from launching attacks. Algeria interprets this as a direct violation of its territory and send several mechanized brigades to the area.
Mission
Search and destroy SAM threats in the coastal border region. Known SA-3 locations are assigned. Mobile threats SA-6, SA-8, SA-11, SA-15 and SA-22 have been detected in the area.
