The 185th has made significant inroads in eliminating SAM threats along the FLOT, notably the SA-6, SA-4 and most of the SA-8 battalions.

Command now want us to build on this by peeling another layer of the onion away by pushing further into enemy areas.

Fig. 1 - Package Flight Routes Specifically the DCA Station

There are two known SA-10 threats and you are tasked with neutralising the coastal battalion that appears to be protecting Arzew radar station. It's approximate location has been loaded into your data cartridge as PPT56.

Your package consists of two flights of F-16s and a DCA of four F-15Cs. The latter shall be on station to cover your attacks for thirty minutes from 20:50hrs and shall be the first to take off.

Fig. 2 - Target Area Intel

The information on the use of the airfield near the target are indicated above. There has also been unconfirmed reports of an SA-6 battalion in the area.

Your Primary task is to attack and destroy the SA-10 battalion at PPT56.

Your Secondary task is to destroy the Arzew radar station and to locate and, if found, neutralize the SA_6 battalion.

Tertiary targets shall be radar stations and AAA battalions.

The weather is clear at the target. The mission will start in darkness on the ramp.

Mission Success shall be awarded for the destruction of the SA-10s Flap Lid and Big Bird FCRs as well as the SA-10 launchers.

A Partial Success shall be similarly awarded but if only the Flap Lid and Big Bird are destroyed.

Good hunting.
