Situation The threat from Albanian missiles needs to be neutralised
Mission Destroy Tirana airbase which is the only source of threat aircraft from Albania.

The job was to focus on destroying the Low Blow as a minimum and ignore the SA-11 battalion on the coast.
No2 was fully set for AA and 3 had to HARMs for the attack. I had one HARM as backup. As it turned out 3 couldn't get the Low Blow to emit on him, even though I was in the threat zone. I therefore fired my HARM and destroyed the Low Blow (and probably everything else as they were very close together).
2 kept a close eye on MiG 29s scrambling from the local AB and destroyed one. He was guilty of target fixation, got too low and the waiting HQ battalion and it's SA-13s shot him down.
Jaguar 71 joined us on the way home and we RTB'd safely.
Lesson Learned: We need to read up on the RWR symbology for this aircraft.
