The current batch of missions in support of our ground troops has been hampered by flights of MiG-23s coming from the north. Further investigation has found that the only active airbase that is occupied with MiG-23s is Pukchang-up AB and NOT Mirim AB as previously thought. Mirim is currently out of action.
Your task is destroy runway 14/32 at Pukchang-up and return to base. A secondary task is available, requiring the destruction of Kowon-up Depot to the south of the primary target.
Fig. 1 - Package Flight Plan
The above image shows the package's flight plan. It is your task to destroy the runway and depot. The OCA flight plan lines you up on an attack approach to runway 32.
No known high level SAM threats are in the area but expect SA8, 9, 13 and 19 as found in other areas of the warzone.
We know that the air bases to the far NW and NE of the target are active and are home to J-11 fighters (SU-27) although no activity has been seen. The escort must ensure the safety of the OCA flight at least up to the completion of their attack.
Fig. 2 - Flight Plan Over Target Areas
The flight plan shows your route over the target area, including the depot to the south of the air base. Note the proximity of the FLOT. Be careful to avoid any blue-on-blue incidents.
Satan 1 is tasked with destroying the runway with Plasma 7 as escort. Serpent 4 shall destroy the depot.
Fig. 3 - Mission Briefing for Package 3825
Your loadout is at flight leads discretion.
In case of emergency, your divert field is Onchon AB on the west coast. Note that only 20L/02R is active as the other runway has been destroyed.
Mission Success Criteria Package success will be the destruction of the runway. A maximum of one loss to the package is permitted.
Partial Success shall be awarded for the destruction of the runway. A maximum of two losses is permitted.
Good Hunting.

The original mission was put back while pilots recuperated and a shorter mission to attempt to slow down a number of mechanised marine outfits who were pushing the FLOT to the south of the conflict area.
Loaded with CBU 104s and 87s (and a centreline tank) we went on a search and destroy mission. We found a large group of vehicle pushing east and we initially set up a 20 mile race track before changing it to a 10 mile wheel.
We had to aim ahead to get any chance of good effect from FL200, which was achieved with mixed results.
The air threat was all but absent (some activity further north but of no consequence to us) and the ground troops had not SAMs or manpads, so we went lower to try to improve our results.
We soon ended up being fuel critical and got back to base on fumes.
